Bermuda Shutters

I wish I had these on my two living room windows for about two hours in the afternoon when the sun is going down on a blazing hot day. Bermuda shutters are so much better than awnings.

I love this shutter also. Would be great for back side of my townhouse which gets extreme afternoon sun in the summer. But I probably would never be allowed to install. Also, it would prevent my watching all the bird activity on my patio, and I don't want to miss that! 😊

I couldn't survive without my shutters. The French don't like A/C and I agree. Instead, we close the shutters on the sunny side of the house. The other day, temps hit 98 F, but inside it was 75 F. Just by opening to fresh air in the evening and morning, then closing the windows to keep it in and the increasingly hot air out, and keeping out the sun.

Looking forward to seeing what you did with the shutters. I'm looking for some to use as accents in our house. Would be great for back side of my townhouse which gets extreme afternoon sun in the summer.
